I have used Great Quality and noticed they will skip or freeze towards the end of the disc on the movies that are 2 hrs. or more.. I know they are cheap, and not using anymore.. but Im asking if the Ridata Ritek with media code ( RICOHJPNR01 ) will burn all the way? As the ones on this link

Have you read the reviews? One from this week states they are TY, looks good to me

As others have mentioned, it's a TY media, burns perfectly at 8x on my NEC 2510 burner, plays in every stand-alone DVD player I have tried without any problem.

First class Taiyo Yuden media (code YUDEN), best money can buy for DVD+R media. The diff in $ from RICOH (~$xxx) is worth it for quality media like this!

Beats the other places that only sells media!

I highly recommend this media. Even though it is a little more pricey than other 50 packs, it's worth the money. These burn flawlessly at 8x with my NEC 2500A, can't beat getting double the speed than the disks are rated for. Got these a day earlier than expected, as always, thanks Newegg.

As stated before, this is Taiyo Yuden media. Absolute best there is. I have an ND-2500 burner, and these discs burn at 8x flawlessly. I'd recommend these discs to anyone.

I really like this media. It burns great at 8X on a Plextor PX-708A, and reads fine in my DVD player. I bought this after a really bad experience with 8X Ritek media, and have been very happy with it. Plan to buy more in the future.

I really like this media. It is rated 4x but burns at 8x on my NEC 2500a. Taiyo yuden makes this media and it makes high quality burns. You can read the review of the NEC 2500a at CDFreaks. If you want quality DVDRs that burn at 8x then get this item.

Never had very good luck with the Ritek brand, so I gave Samsung a shot. Much to my suprise out of a batch of 50, I had not one "coaster". Have been using DVD's mostly for archiving home videos. I'm burning DVD's with a Lite-On USB-2 external using DVD Cloner II. Just placed a second order for more Samsungs.

I backed up three movies (DVD Shrink & Nero 6), 2 PS2 games and 1 X-Box (Alcohol 120%) and some anime so far all work flawlessly so if you have the nec-2500a get these dics

This is some good media. I have a NEC-2500a and bought some ritek G04's and i had some probs with that media like a lot of people are having with the NEC-2500a. SO, I decided to try different media because Riteks werent working out for me and all I got to say is WOW!!!! the Media code on the Samsungs are YUDEN000T01 which are the Taiyo Yudens that come to be a little too expensive from various stores due to the quality of the media that this is hyped for. I put it in the burner and whats quoted at newegg as 4x I can burn at 8X with the NEC-2500a and a lot of ppl know that NEC 2500a is picky at what it can burn at 8x. THANKS NEWEGG FOR THIS AWESOME PURCHASE I WILL ALWAYS BE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!!!!!
