  1. I've backed up many DVDs with DVDBackup with no problems- then today I get two discs in a row that have given me errors!

First, "Treasure Planet" stops, saying taht Title 2 cannot be processed.
"Poolhall Junkies" gives the same error, this time with Title 3.

Any suggestions on how to bypass this?
    Thanks.

I had problems with Treasure Planet when using DVD Backup. I now use MTR(MacTheRipper) it's great! I have had no problems backing up my movies. Give it a try and see if it helps you out.

  3. If you still want to use DVD BackUp, have you tried to just back up the problem title set by itself? I have had problem DVD's in the past and ripped the DVD (minus the title sets it says it can not back up). Then gone back and selected the title set that had a problem and only ripped that one. When you place it in the same folder it will ask you if you want to replace the existing one ... yes you do. See if this works for you. If not MTR has worked great for me.

  4. Looks like MactheRipper is the winner-- backed up both discs without a fuss.

"The Station Agent," however, is another story. I get "READ FAILURE" and "Mirror of Title Set 1 failed" messages.

  6. Ah, dirty disc was the issue. Thanks for the reminder- should have known better.

You're correct about the separate thread-- please feel free to delete it if possible.
