i made a backup of my original vcd movie and gave the original to a friend as a gift...but when i played the backup of my original vcd it stopped in the middle of the movie didn't tested my back up before giving the original to my friend so stupid of me ...i can't get back already the original so i can't make another backup from that original vcd...

what im planning to do is to back up my backup, but how will i make my second back up error free? can i use any program that will first correct the error (stopping at the middle of the movie) before i back it up again to another cd?

  2. try using IsoBuster to extract the video file and if successful, recreate the vcd by using nero, and creating a vcd. hope this helps

Are you able to seek through to any part of the movie after it stops ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

The other thing that springs to mind is whether you are entitled to a backup considering you gave the VCD away.
    If in doubt, Google it.
