It is supposed to convert movies down to flash memory cards for playing on PDA devices. Just wondering if anyone ahd worked with kind of stuff yet and if there are other alternatives. I'd like to convert down a bunch on my movie collection to take with me in my iPAQ.
Does anyone know anything more about this sort-of-new process?
Thanks,
SVCDummy

I tried to use it but it wouldn't run on my Win98 system.
Currently I use VDub to convert my MPEGs into a 320x240 12.5 fps DivX file to watch on my Toshiba PDA. It works well, but is a bit time consuming setting up. -
Take a look at Betaplayer. It is a freeware player for PPC. I would say it is the best one right now.
You can download it Here.
Forums for it are Here.
Howto on encoding for it is Here.
Further, some of the guys like PocketDivxEncoder for its simplicity, but I have never tried it as it is reported by some who have that my Howto above returns better results.
