    Hi.
Just burnt my uncompressed restored video to dvd using iDVD and have a few problems. During playback on the TV and computer the DVDs video ripples when there is a lot of movement. It makes the DVD very unpleasant to watch. I have tried burning it with power director but the same problem occurs. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

What are the source file details? What do you mean "uncompressed"?

A DVD requires MPeg2. See "What is DVD ?" above left.

How did you encode to MPeg2?

Motion "ripples" could mean field reversal or maybe insufficient bit rate.
