  1. how can I do I do not have a mod chip but ps2 can play dvd-r so I am ok whith that. What is the quickest way of doing it.

  3. Look at some guides, at least give it a try yourself first. Then maybe people can help you, but I'm not sure about this, but I don't think ps2 will play dvd-r.

    I'm not sure what you mean, but PS2s can handle DVD-Rs. I've reauthored region 1 S.W.A.T and it palyed fine on a PAL PS2. I guess you are looking for the easiest way to create DVD Backups, so you may want to try DVD Shrink.

  7. Not raw avi, but it can play VCD just fine. I played a converted School of Rock VCD on my friends ps2 with no problems; burned on a dvd-r.

    From the subject I would assume that you have some AVIs that you want to put onto DVD and play on your PS2 ?

    If so, you need to convert each AVI to an MPEG file, using something like TMPGEnc. Then you need to author these files using something like TMPGEnc DVD Author. Then you burn these files.
