I am using the Cyberhome CH-402 player (a few years old) to play "Grave of the Fireflies" original movie disc. During the playback of the movie (not the menus or splash screens) a little icon that looks like a camera with "1/2" is always shown. If I play other DVD movies, from the original disc or from a backed-up disc I do not see these little things.
What are they? What they mean? Is the playback framerate half the 'usual' speed?

As far as I know, that is camera angle 1 of 2. Not sure how to turn it off
