Hi all... I've just be informed that PC WORLD will be selling Verbatim **Dual layer** (2.4x) DVD+R very very soon (Hopefully within the next 2 weeks)... Infact they have the posters advertising them in there warehouse stores now and the price on there tills at £17.99 for a box of 10, not a bad price even for PC WORLD, so hopefully the other suppliers will be even cheaper...

this may be a dumb question. but where is YOUR pc world? i just saw the post topic being PC WORLD and had a look as i live in AUSTRALIA and we have pc world here..........

I noticed that PC world are advertising the Sony Dual Layer burner in the national press for around £120. Technology is still a bit too immature for me to take the plunge, I will wait for others to get their fingers burned first.

Verbatim said they would offer it in July.

Note: Very short supply going to be offered. I heard prices ranging from $5.50 to $15 per disk. But I think more around $15 US

Yes PC WORLD is mainly based in the UK but also goes under different names throughout Europe... And as i did work for pc world at one stage but have left now my mates that work there still keep me up to date with some good deals... not that a good deal comes along that often in pc world as they are usually very pricey.....
