  1. Hello

I have a movie that is on two sides. I want to do so it will be on one side and still keep the menu from side A (side B dosnt have any menu). I was going to try DVDRemake but i dont have money (yet) to buy the full version. Can anyone help me out to fix this so that i can have the movie on one disc (not so hard i think i can do this w/ Shrink) and still have the menus from Side A. I want to use freeware tools for this and dont want to recreate the menus in any author application.

    Plz Help

  3. TOOLS:
    1) Get DVD Shrink(free)
    2) Get DVD-lab version 1.4 beta 2 or above(30 day full function free trial)

    PROCESS:
    1) Rip/transcode each side of your DVD to a folder(one folder for each side)
    2) Import the whole DVD from the folders into DVD-lab into their own VTS. Folder from side A is one VTS, folder from side B is the other VTS. There is a guide for doing multiple VTS on www.mediachance.com, check it out.
    3) Create the VMG menu that will point to each movie.
    4) Compile project and burn to disc.

This is a little over simplified, but I'm at work and don't have the time to write up a step by step. I might create a guide for doing this later.[/u]

Yes, that is a limitation. Other then that DvdReMake Pro should be an ideal tool for this task. Simply copy VTS from side B and paste it to disk on side A. You can even add a "secret" button to one of the menus to play the added material. Or, if you can create a new menu (there are some free apps to do this), you can insert it and have a nice link to inserted stuff.
