  1. Hi there,

I've made an experience, and burned some MP3 files in a DVD, as I used to do with MP3 CDs. But to my surprise, my TV DVD player fails with a read error... What's wrong? Is it possible to put MP3s in DVD? Thanks in advance,

  2. What DVD player have you got? Some will support MP3 CDs but not MP3 DVDs. On the bar to your left, you'll see a catagory "DVD Players" - lots of information to be had in there. Here's the link to save you a second:

Also, is your DVD player compatible with the DVD media you are using? This could cause a read error.

Failing these two options, could it be as simple as a bad burn? Try burning to a DVD+/-RW and see if it works.

  3. Cobra, thanks for your reply. I have a Mustek v520 DVD player, and it reads my EMTEC DVD-RWs just fine. This only happens with MP3 DVDs. I'll check the first compatibility issue that you posted.

  4. I've just taken a look, and a reviewer called Mickey said:

the player writes NO DISC after putting in some DVD-MP3...
You could try e-mailing Mustek for confirmation, but it looks like your player doesn't support it.

  6. just keep burning them to mp3-CD.
or you could try to split up lots of tunes,by putting them in seperate folders with 20 or so tracks in them.
faling that there are a couple of programmes out there that can put many hours of music on 1 dvd, like audio dvd creator, and dvdaudio+creator.
