Hi. I want to convert an AVI to MPEG-2 for DVD. When I play my AVI in Windows Media Player, the video and audio plays fine but there are occasional color blocks appearing on the video. Pretty small. I use FFDSHOW. And here is GSpot's notes on the AVI file:
Video Codec: DivX 3 Low-Motion
In FFDSHOW under Supported Codecs, I have the following enabled:
XviD
DivX 3
DivX 4
DivX 5
FVFW, FFDS
MP43
MP42
MP41
That FFDSHOW comes bundled with a FFVFW. Other than that, I have no other codecs installed. But the glitches are still there and when I convert using TMPGEnc Plus, the glitches are carried through onto the MPEG-2.Please help!

well they are probably encoded into the avi file --- other than hand removing them frame by frame --- not a lot you can do ...
