    Hi ev'body!

I have a problem with the demux function and FFMPEGX 0.0.9j, MacOSX 10.3. In the manual it says that this function can also be used to demux *.VOB files, but I can't get it working...

I choose "Tools", then "Browse" and select my VOB file, and then I hit "demux".

    All I get then is...

...an Error window in which simply is written:

    "File Error"

...and then another Error window with the headline
    "AppleScript Error:

    ac3fix V0.3

Removes bad frames from .AC3 files
    Usage: ac3fix <infile> <outfile>
    Error level returned:
    0: No bad frames found
1: One or more bad frames found and removed
    2: Error in execution (2)"

What's the problem, what is my mistake? Am I maybe missing a AppleScript thing? The VOB is working and I can write a AVI from it with no problem...

    Thanks for any help!

  2. Could you please copy/paste here the path contained in the "Browse" field after you open your VOB file?

    ...here is the path:

    /Volumes/50GB 1/tus-test.VOB

Although I cannot explain why my volume is called "50GB 1" as I named it "50GB"...?

    Any explanation for this?

    Thanks!

Removing the space between "50GB" & "1" could be the solution...
    So "50GB 1" must be "50GB1"

Nope, that doesn't change anything! Neither "50GB1 nor "50GB" (which is what I typed in as the name for my volume) solves this.

I really wonder why there is a " 1" in the name of my volume, as it is named "50GB".

The strange thing is, that in the "open" area (in the very top part of FFMPEGX) my drive is named "50GB 1" as well! But converting from VOB to AVI works without any probs!

Not even demuxing from my start volume works...

    I am puzzled...

Thanks for any further hints, tipps, solutions...
