I've used DVD Shrink to rip sections from many different DVDs and combined them into one 'DVD set' that has been saved in a VIDEO_TS folder with all VOB, IFO and BUP files. I can burn this as is, but the DVD won't have a menu and I've had no control over the chapters. I would like to add a simple menu and correct the chapter markers without having to demux and all? Also, I don't want to re-encode MPEG either. Is this possible? What's the simplest way to do it?

Thanx for the link. I just spent a couple of hours with the trial version of DVD-lab, but it was not what I was looking for. It's too complicated for what I am trying to accomplish. I just need to set the chapter points and preferably have the software create a menu automatically from that. Nothing fancy.

The person who made DVD Shrink REALLY made it user friendly. It's really different from most of the stuff out there. I can make a compilation DVD virtually within minutes! I just miss having a basic menu and chapter selections. Is there really not a simpler sollution out there?

    Thanks for the tip Doc69

Now I have been able to add to the start of my movies that don't have them the Dolby Digital or DTS audio/video sequence using shrink.

To do it though I have had to sacrifice an extra on the dvd to be replaced by it. eg. VTS_05_0.BUP, VTS_05_0.IFO, VTS_05_0.VOB, VTS_05_1.VOB because I cannot add a extra VTS set at the end of the files. I assume (but don't know much at all about dvd structure) this is because the information for the whole movie is held inside the VIDEO_TS.IFO or .BUP file, and shrink doesn't see any extras thrown in at the end.

This if fine though because I usually don't bother with the menus and some extras to keep the compression level lower.
