    can anyone please help i have and ati all in blunder and i need the best capture codec and setting so i can get good quality and decent size. I live in europe (london) so its pal. I can record tv without any problems from macrovision. I had problems at the start with it but for so reason now(i am not sure why) but its ok now.
    oh i want to do it throw virtual dub.

    huffyuv will yield roughly 2:1 compression and it's lossless. with harddrive space being so cheap nowadays(even for laptops) there's no justification to use a lossy capture codec
