    Using tmpgenc 1.5.20.62 trial. I just got a Panasonic dmr50 using it to convert old VHS tapes to DVD. I can play all clips in the Panasonic. On some clips when trying to convert to DVD using TMPGENC Video Wizard to add video clips I get "the program is a mix of different video formats" error. The clips are from the same tape. I have this problem with only some of clips others are fine, with the good ones I can create a DVDR.

    Any Ideas?

    try re-recording the troublesome clips, and make sure you use identical settings, i.e. you can't do half on SP and half on EP
