Hello. I have backed up some data on to a DVD-R (using nero v6), and evry time i try to copy this data back to a hard drive from the DVD, it gives an error that it can't read from some of the cylinders on the disk. I have burned these backups using the "DVD-ROM (ISO)" option in nero. I have also notticed this problem when trying to re-copy DVD movies that I have burned. Any help would be very appreciated. TIA 8)

Just buring error.
(1) Using DVD-RW/+RW next time.
(2) and click on 'Verify data' on Nero: will take longer to finish. But you can be sure if your back up is working or not.

You are not alone. Lots of people skip the verify, and some of them even say "not yet a coaster". Always verify, and not with Nero. Look here: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=927100#927100
