    Hi I Have the cyberhome dvr 1600 dvd recorder and it does state on the website tht it is compatible with avi xvid and divx i am having problems playin avi's i have 2 on a data dvd that wont work just wondrin if any1 else has had the same problems.

    Welcome to the forums.

    I would check 'DVD Recorders' to the left for user comments on your model. <<<<<<

    You might also want to check your manual or the Cyberhome site to see what their specifications are for Divx or Xvids.

    It could be the Divx/Xvid format you are using is not compatible with the player.
