I have a Sony DRU500A DVD Writer. I have been problems to get to X4 as it only does X2 Speed. Most of the time I use Recordnow 4.6 version.
I decided to give Nero 6.0 a try. It never burns movie files to the disc. It starts, finishes in a matter of seconds saying 100% complete. It does nothing with the disc. I have tried different media. Currently using TDK X4. Why do I have this problem? Am I suppose to do something with VIDEO_TS folder files first? Is it a hardware problem?
I am confused.
I am sure a lot of people out there would have the same problems.
Thanks.

IMG Tools Burn has different versions for each version of Nero. Are you sure your using IMG Tools for Nero 6 with Nero 6 for example.

Also, make sure to update Nero! Early versions were very buggy.

I am trying ImgToolBurn.
I have not updated Nero as yet. I will do that next. The only reason I was trying IMGTool was that I could get RecordNow to burn at X4. I am using TDK Media -R. It starts off at X4 then dropping back to X2, just around 30 mintues.
I know before the update I was able to burn X1 rated media at X2. That is why I am thinking that the older version of firmware may help.
