divx to my dvd player

how can i encode a divx movie to play on my dvd player im using dvd shrink 3.1 do i start there i sort of new at this so can you explain on how to do it someone said encode the divx then put it on a mpeg then burn it to a dvd+r disc where do you find that how to do it

I think you have a lot of learning to do.

Go to the left where it says guides and look for DivX to DVD. There are a few steps to take. The information is there , so noone is going to spell it out for you.

DVD Shrink is a 'ripper' to basically to copy an original DVD to a DVD-R.
