Please can anyone help I am new to video and DVD making and this is my first post on the forum. I get good results from my Canon Camcorder and I am able to edit with Pinnacle Studio resulting in a good quality rendered DVD .
However the burning to DVD is driving me crazy I generally get good results burning to +RW discs however burning to +R or any other formats causes sections of the DVD to go in fits and starts and sometimes menu links do not work.
I always burn an image first and never directly to disc. The same thing happens whether I use Pinacle CD/DVD or Nero.
My Dell computer has a Philips +RW facility and I have an external LG multi format drive both give the same problem.
Can anyone please help explain why I get this stuttering effect is it something to do with the speed of the data exchange between my computer and the blank discs.
I also find that some discs such as some recently purchased Rytec are useless.

Is your RW media top quality and you + media not? Are you filling the disk completely? Does your player simply not like your + media?
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -
It might help to specify what specifications your computer has as well as what speed you are burning the discs at. Not to mention what players you are playing the burned discs in.
