Hi, accidently I used ULEAD MS 6.5 (I normally use MS 6.0) for converting an 1 hour DV-avi to PAL SVCD (Constant Bitrate 1350, audio joint stereo 160 Kb/s).The result by 6.5 was different from the reult off 6.0.The SVCD couldn't be play back without stuttering frames while 6.0 SVCD runs smooth. Anyone else encountered the behaviour?

I encoded a dv type 1 avi to svcd (pal) with MSP Director's Cut V6.5 using your settings and it played back fine. Director's Cut V.5 is the 'supposed' to be the same as MSPV6.5 less the graphics and paint plug-ins.

I'll try that with type 1 again.Mine was Type 2 (output from VirtualDub). Let's see what happens.

I transcoded the type 1 to type 2 and got the same results.
