How to copy an encrypted DVD having no AUDIO_TS folder? (There are other folders containing DVD playing software, like InterPlayer, along with some other aditional files (not in a folder).
I tried DVD XCopy Platinum, DVDshrink and DVDdecrypter, no can do. They all give me a message saying there was a"cyclic redundancy error" or some such.
Thanks a bunch for all your suggestions.

"cyclic redundancy error" is a non-recoverable fault or error on the DVD.
You do not need the Audio folder to copy in most cases the folder is empty.
The only chance of copying the disk would be with some type of DVD rescue software, such as "DVD X Rescue" or similar but it would be a hit or miss affair as to whether the result will work. -
Agree, clean the disc first, if that does not work try one of the fixer programs.

Thank you all for responding. I haven't inspected the disk for dirt assuming it's clean as it played through with PowerDVD. I'll check that anyway.
As for DVDX Rescue, I tried that too, and got the same message about the error.
At first I thought this particular VOB file which can't be copied is in some way linked to the DVD playing software provided on the disk (InterPlayer or somethong), which in turn prevents it from being copied, but I guess that's not it. Or is it?
Appreciate all your other suggestions about how to make that partucular back-up. -
This can also be the result of errors on the hard drive. Try running scandisk or run Norton's Disc Doctor from their System Works Utilities. But try the above methods first. If you have bad clusters on the hard drive, Partition Magic can segregate them where no data is written on that part of the drive; (might save you from buying a new hard drive.)

Talus, thanks! That's a very unfavourable analysis of my HDD. However, unwilling as I am to discard your suggestion, I cannot. With such huge amount of data traveling into and out of the HDD, it's likely. I'll let you know if I succeeded.
