hi, i am trying to burn a 702mb iso vcd onto a 700mb cd using nero version 6. everytime i try to burn on a bulkpaq cd i get error saying the disc does not have enough space, insert another disc. i thought nero should give an option that allows you to overburn slightly on a 700mb, so why cant i burn 702 mb on a 700mb cd? i am using my nec 1100a dvd burner to do it. i have a cdrw in another computer i own would i be better off using that to burn on? i have ticked to box in nero which says finalise the disc.

  2. I need to assume you have access to Nero Express - this is what I use.

Go into Nero and when you're ready to burn the image, click the "More..." button then the "Configure" button. Click the "Expert Features" tab and activate overburning. Set your limits, and away you go!

If you're using ordinary Nero, go to File --> Preferances. You can then click "Expert Features" and select overburning.

    Hope this helps!

  3. Some Nero 6 version have a bug when trying to burn a cd on which data size is close to cd size.

Update to the latest version 6.3.1.6 to resolve this problem.

PS: a 80 min cd has a capacity of 703 MB in data mode and 807 MB in vcd/svcd

  6. Like I said before, update to the latest version of nero 6 (some of the first releases had problems with overburning).
