    Hi,

I just burned an (ISO) DVD-R full of DivX files using Nero 6.6.0.1. using the "No Multisession" option.
The burn was successful but when I try to copy the disk I just burned it says something like the disk to be copied is too big. It shows the size of the disk to be copied and the available capacity.... The thing that confuses me is that both these numbers are the same.

Does this have anything to do with using the "no multisession" option?

If you burned from ISO, then there is no need to copy. Just burn another copy from the ISO.

And no, multisession is not the issue.

Well, in my limited knowledge, maybe I am not explaining correctly.

I have 12 DivX files on my Hard drive of approx 350MB each.

What I would like to do is burn all of them onto a disk that I can play in my standalone dvd player (which I have already successfully done)

I would like to delete these 12 DivX files from my Hard disk due to all the space they are taking up. I figure I don't need them to remain on my PC if they are on the disk I burned.

If I want to make another disk in the future that is identical to the disk I burned (that will also play in my dvd player) I try to just copy it in Nero. Nero tells me the source disk is too large for the blank disk I am trying to burn to. How can this be if I just burned the exact same 12 files a few minutes earlier? I was inclined to think that the process of finalizing a disk makes it too large to copy. But I am still learning

Back up to ISO with DVDDecrypter, ISO Read. Make new DVD with ISO Write.

OK...it sounds like you have a DVD with 12 avi files burned onto it (the files are still in avi format...not converted to dvd video).

Nero, or any other burning software should be able to create an image (iso file or similar) of the disc, then you just burn the image.

I think you were trying to use Nero to create a "video" disc. In which case Nero wants to convert all of your avi files to dvd spec mpeg2...hence there isn't enough space.

At this point, you are just working with a data disc.

    yep, thats what i think

you need to use the copy 'data disc' function

your letting NERO choose what to do and it thinks you want to transcode those avis into DVD and there is not enough room for that , it will take put more than the 4gigs available
