  1. zup men, well... i have just started in this things and i have bought Boilsoft Avi to dvd, vcd, svcd.
My question is, i converted a movie from avi to vcd, so it transformed to .mpeg, do i burn the file in .mpeg in a cd or do i have to make something else to complete the conversion, and a second doubt, when i convert avi files, wich is best to convert to, vcd or svcd???

it has to be put together a certain way. not sure bout alcohol 120 but nero has option to make vcd and sets everything up for you. if its a vcd file it should be .mpg and not .mpeg.

you can, but it wouldnt be a vcd. you still might be able to play it that way, depends on your dvd player.

DVD Players<<<<<<<<<<<<< check if it plays raw iso's, then again you could always try the good ol' trial and error method

  6. ok.. but my question is: what other files i have to join so the mpg can be a vcd, and if my file is mpeg, can it be played in a dvd player, cause the boilsoft avi to vcd, etc. converted it to mpeg, and it says it is a vcd, ???

  8. Use VCDGear or VCDEasy or Nero and so on. And, SVCD is better, i would prefer CVD which is also SVCD but in DVD compliant resolution.
