Is there anything you can't find on google? I was having trouble with my gas furnace yesterday. It would lite just fine but not stay lit. After about 10 seconds the burners would go out. So before I got out the phone book out to look up a repair person I thought "Why not check google to see if it's something I could fix".
I searched for "furnace will light but not stay lit" in google and the fourth result helped me solve my problem. The flame sensor was dirty and needed to be cleaned. Took all of two minutes from start to finish for me to clean it and now the problem is solved.
Who knew...? The internet is good for something other than just wasting my time!
