    I'm trying to update Encore, using the 3.5MB update downloaded from Adobe. But it will not run, always bringing up the error "The updater cannot find Adobe Encore DVD 1.0 in ..... Please attempt to locate Adobe Encore DVD 1.0 again or cancel the update and install Adobe Encore DVD 1.0 from the original disks or CD."
    Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know the fix?

    Common problem for non legit copies of encore. If you copy is legit try uninstalling encore, turn off windows xp system restore, reinstall encore and then install the patch before your restart your computer.
