    Hi

    I have followed one of the guides on this site on how to rip scenes from a dvd using DVD shrink ( which gives you a video and audio file ) then use tmpeg to make them into one mpeg file.

    now all works well and it makes the file, but the lip sync seems to be out by about 1-2seconds , which is a tad anoying.

    Just wondered if anyone can tell me what Im doing wrong?

    Did you take a whole "chapter" on the DVD?
    Is it a factory pressed DVD?

    Hi

    no I took about 4 mins from a 20min chapter, its a home made dvd , but professionally done with menus etc. I picked it up via a trade online
