  1. split a divx file with virtualdub ok then send it to TMPGEnc for encodeing to mpeg ok 1st disc sound is ok 2nd disc sound is about 10 seconds behind any ideas how to put this right?sorry to go on a bit.

    Don't split it, use source range to select which part to encode.

    I don't know if you understood me. Source range (in TMPGEnc) effectively "splits" the file. You use it to select the first half of the film then setup the rest of your project, then you can select batch encode and setup the second part using source range again to encode only the last half, start the batch encode and both parts will be converted one after the other.

  5. thanx zippy it is VBR audio so what would be the easiest 4 me to get the audio in sync again not forgetting im new

    I use Goldwave, load the avi and save out a wav audio file, use the wav as the audio source when you encode.

  7. right here goes i analysed the audio with goldwave with the 1st part of movie ok how do i save it and send it back to tmpgenc to encode so the audio is ok and in sync with film?

    In Goldwave just select "save" and it will create a wav file. In TMPGEnc after you input your avi into the video source box, input the wav into the audio source box.

  9. hi all done goldwave bit put it to TMPGEnc but now it says mpeg cannot be created any ideas?

  10. i will try to add more i add the video ok once i have put the sound through goldwave wav file i put it to the audio but this is where i come into a problem it says cannot be created does anyone no why?
