If you're using Nero, just slap it back in the drive when you're ready to burn another movie over it and it will work just fine.

hi! although i have a feeling your idea wont work, i tried it out. i tried burning another avi into the same disc, and as expected, nero says that the disc is not empty, do you want to erase? i answered yes and it goes erasing the disc. now, as expected, it ejected the disc and asked for a blank disc. sigh! not about to give up yet, i re-insert the same disc and proceed and again it ask whether i want to erase and i answered yes. and voila!!?? it erased fine and burned fine and playable on my dvd player??!! then i tried to erase again and this time nero did not complain thx man
