  1. Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone else experiences different sound volumes on dvd rips from the net. I have klite codec installed but some movies have fantastic sound, and some u can hardly hear it on full!

Does anyone know what i can do to fix this?Just annoying when u finish d.l a movie then u cant watch it because u can hardly hear it.

I watch my movies on TV Out so i am not converting them at all!

    Thanks

P.s i use media player 9 to watch off computer and have inbuilt soundcard from my mb but i dont think that this is the reason as i said before, most movies have normal sound!

  2. The problem is not with your equipment. The problem is with the movie itself. You'll just have to turn the volume up on those with crappy audio.

Unless you want to separate the video from the audio, revamp it, and put it all back together. A lengthy process though. Regards.

  3. odds are its mostly on 2cd rips
its due to them using ac3 codec for audio
you can fix it easily by adjusting the gain of the ac3 codec
