  1. I generally test my compilations on +RWs before committing them to +/- R. Up until now, all have been in the 4 -4.2gig range. The other day I tested a 1.6gig burn and noticed that after the initial burn completed the Lead Out/Finalization process continued until the remainder of the disc completed (entire disc burned). With my 811S running on 2.4x Memorex +RWs that was about 24 minutes to complete. Is it normal that +RWs need to be "written to the edge" or is this a configuration issue that I need to change in Nero?

    Thanks

I have the same issue with my 411S and Nero 6.3.
I happens with Nero and +RW disk only when you use blank +RW disk for the first time. Next time you use already formatted disk, it will take only time needed to burn 1.6 Gig.

  3. Hmmm. Interesting...

Does erasure prior to reuse affect the formatting? and does it matter whether I do a quick erase or full erase (except for the amount of time involved)
