DVD Writer Comparisons Needed

With the flurry of releases of these computer based recorders we need someone who has access to the "Big 3"(so far) to step up and write a comparison in simple terms that everyone can understand so that folks can make an educated buying decision.

Do I buy the:

Panasonic "rambo" drive
Pioneer DVR-A03
HP DVD100i

Can I author selectable menu's with the software provided, can I fit an entire 2hr movie at SVCD quality on one 4.7gb disc. Are the discs compatible with the majority of players, etc...

I realize many answers are in the Forum and comparisons here and other places but we need one centralized place for all the answers....
