I know that one cannot author a VCD onto a blank DVD, without some conversion like 44.1kHz to 48 kHz. That has been explained.
However, I don't want to author a VCD. All I want is to burn an MPEG file (a data file) onto a blank DVD. Can it be done? Can a blank DVD be used to store data, not just MPEG but other data files?
