I need help with creating a resume button. So that I wont have to restart the film every time I enter the menu on the DVD. I use DVD-lab at the moment but if anyone knows how to do this in another program, please let me know how its done there.

  2. That should totally be dependant on each program. Some programs are so limited that you may not be able to do it. Many of those bundled DVD authoring programs probably don't give you the function.

Actually I know that not every program can make a resume button. I dont even know if DVD-lab can make one. But thats not what i asked, I asked how to make a resume button, preferably using DVD-lab since that is the program Im using at the moment. But if someone happens to know how to do it in any other program, i would like to know.

Thank you in advance for any hints you can give me.

  4. I don't think DVD-Lab has the option. But you can create a button in the menu for "resume play" and modify the command after authoring with MenuEdit. The command is 20 01 00 00 00 00 00 10. The problem is that executing this command before the video has been played or after the video has finished playing will stop the DVD playback.
The proper way to do it is to check if the video has started playing and if not to execute a jump to title command instead of resume. But for this you need to make quite a few modifications and without knowing what your DVD structure is like, I can't help you.
