    Hi dudes, heres my my problem:
    I'm trying to convert a AVI to vcd format with TMPGEnc. Now about half way through the conversion TMPGEnc freezes.I normally get around this problem by using virtualdub to convert the audio first, but with this particular movie when I try and open it with virtualdub I get the following error message:
    'Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'MPG4' [Microsoft high-speed MPEG-4'

    Can anyone help? I'm trying to convert a whole series so it would totally piss me off to have to skip one episode.

    I fixed this by downloading and installing the Krystal Studios Codec pack. Find it at http://www.digital-digest.com in their software zone.
