  1. I have just started burning my home videos to DVD. I use a DVD+R/RW Drive. I have a Panasonic DVD Player.

I am using the trial version of NeroVision. The first time I burned one of my home videos which was created using Windows MovieMaker, it was fine and played on my DVD player. It was 7 minutes long. Bitrate high quality 9716 bps.

My second project was a 30 min home video, 1.8 GB. When I used the Nerovision, I created chapters and also applied high quality bitrate. The problem is that it doesn't play on my DVD player. I can see the menu screen with all the chapters. When I press play, it highlights and does not play.

I am really puzzled. I have tried to decrease the bit rate butI don't think it's related. It can'tbe the DVD player cause it played my first project . In fact the quality is great.

Thanks I look forward to some answers.

By the way, before this happened, I was actually able to successfully burn a 40 min home video. But that was onlyonce. So I can't understand. Is it possible that trial versions have limits to lengths of dvd's you can burn?

While searching through the forums I found your post. I am having the exact same problem as you. Everything I create with menus/chapters works fine on the PC but not in either one of my DVD players. Just like you I see the menu screen with all the chapters, but when I press play it highlights and does not play.

Sure hope someone has found a fix for this.

    Good Luck....

I recently bought the Nero 6 suite with nerovision Express. I have burned a couple of homevideos to DVD and haven't encountered any problems so far. The quality is very good with chapters and menus.

So it was weird to have that problem with the trial version.
