I have a Nintaus DVD player in my livingroom.
    The DVD player plays DVD/VCD/SVCD/MP3/+++ + + +
Nice DVD player with a PAL TV.

How can I burn my MPG's and MPEG's that resides on my PC, and take the cdr to my Nintaus DVD player in my livingroom and play them there ??

I have tried the burnmpg page here, without success

    Anyone ?

    Thanx!

First, you have to consider a lot of things like:
    1. Is your DVD player compatible with CD-R or CD-RW? Try to be sure about it.
    2. What speed recording are you using? Try 2X, it maybe slow but it gives good result. What burning software?
    3. Are you burning your MPEG files in the right format? Burn as VCD (Video CD) or SVCD (Super Video) CD?
    4. Since your files are in MPEG format, no encoding processes would be needed.

Now these are only the few things to consider. check it out I hope this could help.

  3. Yes it is the beter player I know.
    I have one and period!...
OK!thats quiet easy to make your mpgs play in yourNintaus: -
    1º- with tmpgenc transform your file in a mpg1 to VCD;
2º- burn the file Nero 5 or EasyCd 5 with option VCD
YOU MUST re-decode your mpg file to make a Video cd, and that task is in tmpgenc.

My NINTAUS will not accept the cdr when I am trying to watch the MPEG file..
I have usr tmpegenc first, then, burn it with NERO 5.5.5.1 on VCD option. 2x speed.

I tried my cd-rw disc, and it worked!!
Why didn't it work with my NINTAUS and ordinary CDR discs ??
    Anybody ??

It seems to be a problem playing ordinary VCD cd's that are recorded, but not cdrw discs... Anyone ?? !

I also have a Nintaus and I've never had any problems, cheap cdr or expensive... no probs.
It could be the media though.
The CDR brands that always works for me is:

    Mr Platinum (80 mins)
    Kodak CDR Ultima 80
    Maxell 80 XL Pro (Something)

Also, try to use a cleaning CD (Isn't too expensive) to freshen up the Lenses inside your machine...

What does the machine tell you? No Disc or Disc Error?

    Hmmm... Now I don't have a clue...
I thought that it was the medium...
It's probably a problem with the authoring, try VcdImagerEasy WITH CDRDAO.
    Perhaps this could fix it.

I don't know of any way of resetting the Nintaus, try to Email them but don't expect a reply in technical issues...

Try to use a lens cleaner if you haven't already.

Another thing that's stated in the Manual is: Turn of the Power of the machine (Not on the Remote) and leave it off for a while... Then restart it...

I hope that this can help you...

    (Perhaps your player is defect...)
