Hi
I've seen the many posts here before regarding the pioneer patch issues. I donated to the software and started putting my SVCD's on DVD.
I have a problem with the pan and scan option. Basically I ripped 3 svcd's to mpeg with the pan and scan option set, then I let SVCD2DVD do its stuff. The problem was that I selected the wrong hard disk and the one I selected didn't have enough space so when it came to creating the TS_VIDEO folder the program locked up due to lack of space for the VOB'S so I had start again.
I didn't want to go through the motion of ripping the Mpeg's from the Bin files so I placed the DVD.mpeg files into a folder and set SVCD2DVD to work on them. The log checked the files and said all were ok as they had NAV packs and would leave it alone. The resulting Vob files when played on my Pioneer had the same problems as everyone else with the screen being to the left.
Can I actually just work straight from the DVD.mpeg files or do I have to set SVCD2DVD going again from the ripping of the bin files?
Cheers
Add: I should add that if i do a normal rip and make sure there is enough space then it works fine on my player, I just don't fancy going through the SDE placing with 3 bin files again and wondered if i could work from the DVD.mpeg files.
