  1. I would like to know what is the best (and by best I mean inexpensive, and high quality) software is for combining 6 .wav files together to create a 5.1 .ac3 file. I have tried using besweet to convert an interlaced multichannel .wav exported from adobe audition, but it returns that it does not recognize the input file format. I don't know how to encode/combine the 6 .wavs into 1 .ac3 using besweet (or if that is even possible). Please help!

    Softencode (costs $ 1000 and has been discontinued....)

    I know that Sony has a replacement, but I don't know its name;
    Apart from Besweet, I think everything is as expensive as it can get !

    If you have Sony Acid Pro or Vegas Video,they have a 5.1 surround
    plug-in that works for both, but its $200 for it.

  5. Yeah I went through that a while ago, tested more proggies than I wanna even think about.

    Solution was a shareware called AVI MPEG RM WMV Joiner (EZMerge.exe) which is 20 bucks to register.
