  1. I noticed that the latest virtualdub has audio filters, thing is I need one for noise. Was wondering if there is an audio filter that gets rid of crackling/noise in the audio that maybe I missed or I can find somewhere.

    I like Gold Wave for removing the crackling/pops. Load the video into it, select Effects-->Noise Reduction-->Pop/Click. Save it as a wave, and load the wave and original video into VDub and save it under a new file name.

    In the add filters dialog box-click on input, lowpass and output in that order-click close button-in filter graph click on lowpass, then configure button
