  1. Hello:

Can someone please help! I am trying to convert an avi file to mpeg but I am not able to preview in tmpgenc the video and when I encode the file to mpeg I only get sound no video. I just downloaded the recent version 2.0 of tmpgenc with the vfapi plug in. Please let me know what I am doing wrong and how I can fix it.

    Thanks,

    pibe

  2. Your avi is probably encoded using a codec that is not installed on your machine. Try installing the Divx codec and see if it helps.

  4. Use a template for which you have a decoder. Most likely you are converting to MPEG-2 and have no
decoder for that. Use the Video CD template, which generated MPEG-1, and you'll be able to see the
    video on your PC.
