    I have an .mpg file ready to burn through Nero, but the size is almost twice as much as Nero will allow. How can I split it into two (or three) files so that I can burn it?

    You can use DVD Shrink. Use the Reauthor mode and then you can set your start/stop points in the movie. You can repeat this process to split your movie into as many discs as needed.

    TMPGEnc will allow you to split MPG files -- FILE / MPEG TOOLS / MERGE AND CUT.
