I apologize, I know this is not the exact forum I am looking for, but I cannot find any information on how to convert a .mov sound file to a ringtone to bluetooth over to my T68i phone...

If anyone knows of where I should be looking I would greatly appreciate it, or if anyone has already done this and remembers where they learned it.

Maybe a question on how to RIP a sound byte off a DVD to convert to a ringtone? That might be a cool thing.....

The ringtones on my phone have a .mid extension (MIDI files) when I browse the files from my PowerBook.

I upgraded to the Sony Ericsson T616 just the other day. When I have Bluetooth turned on in both devices (the phone and my PowerBook), I can browse files on each device from the other device. When I browse files on my laptop from the phone, it looks into my home directory's Public folder.

In addition to wanting a more modern cell phone, I was looking to get a phone that would sync calendar and contacts like a Palm without having a Palm OS phone ... especially since I've been reading the new Palm OS Cobalt will not be compatible with Mac OS X. So far so good. I even like that I have wireless internet access anywhere, not just when I'm close to a wi-fi/AirPort hot spot.
