    I have to digital 8 tapes with family movies from early 90s which i treasure. apparently something happened and the tapes somehow came out of the cassette. i doubt they tore off but the kind of become crumple and cannot play or transfer the movies. Does anybody know a company that does salvage works of tapes

    I`ve been repairing vhs and beta and 8m tapes for 20 years and once they get crumpled you cant fix the crumpled portion of the tape,if the cassette got damaged then its best to buy another blank tape and replace the spools.
