  1. Hello and greetings.
I'm waiting for my own cable to be installed but not sure if they finish this until June 30.

That is why I'm asking (begging) if anyone can record Arte TV https://www.arte.tv/sites/corporate/en/faq/watching-arte-in-the-uk-ireland-and-across-europe/

show that will run on 2023-06-30 23:00 CEST https://www.arte.tv/fr/videos/114748-000-A/within-temptation-au-hellfest-2023/

    Any hope?

And yes, while this public tv say it will web-stream at their website it is 720p and I'm really interested in full 1080 if possible (that channel is HD, isn't it?)

    That would be great, TIA.

And do you have Arte HD there in France on cable or terrestial or any other means that is 1080 and recordable?

  5. @Subtitles, that would be great 🙇 , assuming you can schedule it or do not have any Friday night plans, as it is Saturday 00:20 - 01:45 (am) IDT if I read timezones correctly (23:20 Paris)

Arte France, from what I read, is 1080i Hotbird. Arte Germany is 720p Astra.

I used to enjoy Arte programing but they do not appear to have a SD signal anymore (at least that is what my receiver tells me)

As for the timing, the program plan for Arte Germany says it starts at 22:20 CET (not 23:20 or even 23:00). Of course local time-zones will vary this.

I have set my receiver to record using EPG. I gave it generous margins in the start and finish but I can trim it after the recording.
Hellfest or Never is the title
Just give me shout on Friday afternoon please.

  11. Mr Subtiles, The program I'm looking for is "Within Temptation au Hellfest 2023" https://www.arte.tv/fr/videos/114748-000-A/within-temptation-au-hellfest-2023/ officially 23:30 CEST and not "Hellfest or Never" 01:20 CEST that airs next

Total confusion with the timetables, probably our web-browsers display in local times, hard to believe we have those timezones problems, "daylight saving time" crap

Anyway, looking forward for recording, will remind on priv.

Please see attached my recording setup. I think I got the times right perhaps the EPG title is incorrect.
The part in red is the actual program and in yellow are the margins before and after.
If I am wrong, then please let me know. Thanks.
If you are in the UK, we have 2 hours difference.

Well that appears to be the WRONG program and the one previous, which should be the correct one is also reported wrongly.

The minor difference that I quoted could be from a 'live' transmission to a web VOD (Video on Demand)

  14. Actually the show 2 hours EARLIER,

That is between Pamela Anderson (interesting )

    and Tracks Goes East

EPG seems to have correct titles.

And again, extremely happy for your responses.

I think my EPG is playing tricks on me because this event is missing.
I have rescanned the EPG but still this title is not shown.
Anyway we still have few more days till Friday. I will check it out till then and if it still doesn't show up, I will just record according to the time table that you sent me.
