I want to combine a few sporting videos that I have made over the last few years but I wanted more info on how to add my own music to it. Is there a program that will do this? and what sound format do they need to be in so they play in a home DVD player? Thanks for the help in advance...I have the DVD authoring software (TMP) I also wanted info on how to fade in/out add still etc...

Use an audio editor like goldwave (shareware and excellent) to mix your audio, add fades and transition etc. Edit the audio in wav format, save making sure the smaple rate is correct (44.1khz for S()VCD, 48khz for DVD) then encode to mp2 for (S)VCD or DVD or you can use Ac3 or LPCM (wav) on DVD.
