I was wondering if someone can help with this: I'm transcoding a divx avi to svcd with Tmpgenc. The source file is 528x304 (16:9) and output is set to same. The problem is that when I play the finished mpg file on WMP it looks fine, but when i play it on my set top it plays at 4:3 with no borders.
Until now I used DVD2SVCD which automatically added the borders via Avisynth but Tmpgenc doesn't (I've tried both the full screen and centered outputs but the result is the same).
So my question is, do I have to add the borders manually (and how do I do that) or is the problem due to the custom resolution (528x304) which my set top converts to 4:3?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
