so ive used nero to make vcd's before and it was a quick and simple process. drag and drop, nero converts the video in a couple of mins and it burns it. ive recently installed a new HD so i had to reinstall nero again. but now when i make vcd's it takes like an hour to convert the video!!!! has anyone experienced this as well? any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks![]()

The problem is that you are importing a file that is not VCD compliant. It must be mpeg-1, 1150 constant bitrate and 352x240(for NTSC). It is taking longer because the file you are using is being re-encoded.
