    so ive used nero to make vcd's before and it was a quick and simple process. drag and drop, nero converts the video in a couple of mins and it burns it. ive recently installed a new HD so i had to reinstall nero again. but now when i make vcd's it takes like an hour to convert the video!!!! has anyone experienced this as well? any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

    The problem is that you are importing a file that is not VCD compliant. It must be mpeg-1, 1150 constant bitrate and 352x240(for NTSC). It is taking longer because the file you are using is being re-encoded.
