LiteOn 411s + Nero

How is everyone getting Nero to work with the LiteOn 411s? I have Nero 5.5.10.54 that doesn't even see it. Nero's list of "currently supported drives" does not list it. Yet, I read of people using both 5.5.10.54 and 6.3 apperently without any problems. What's the trick?

Using the latest Nero with my 411s with no probs at all.

Me too (except that my brother broke the drive yesterday, but oh well) - but note the latest version of Nero is 6.x - I did not try using 5.x with this drive.

OK, silly me. 6.3.0.3 did the trick. I wonder how those who got it working under 5.5.10.54 got it working?

i installed it by itself and made sure aspi driver was ver 4.71

So you're saying Nero 5.5.10.54 plus (Adaptec?) ASPI 4.71 will do it? How do you get Nero to use Adaptec ASPI over it's internal one? After playing with 6.3 I see no reason to keep it.
